Meet up with some old work colleagues around 1330 on a Thursday and had pre booked. There was a real buzz around the place. The waiter explained about the various steaks and was very friendly. The steak was delicious and very good value compared to many Steak based restaurants. The starters were very good, and the bread and butter pudding was excellent. You can buy wine by the litre, which is excellent value. We will definitely return.

Went for a casual meet up with friends. Arrived 5 mins late due to bank holiday weekend travel issues but the staff were accommodating and sat me down with no issues at all. My friend arrived 30 later due to the same issues, but was sat down with no issues either. Drinks order took and brought to us within minutes and then food order was taken and brought to us quickly. The service from all staff was warm and welcoming, refilled our glasses with water and wine accordingly. The food was perfect, the sharer (all in) had a plate high of different chops on a base of flat breads. The chips were perfectly fried and the gravy was so full of flavour I could have ate the same thing again just for the gravy. The atmosphere was amazing, but not a place if you want a quiet dinner and talk. All in all an amazing place, glad I discovered it, will certainly go again.

We had an incredible experience at Blacklock Covent Garden on Saturday the 14th. The food was fantastic, but it was the outstanding service that truly blew us away. Partway through our meal, my husband accidentally spilled red wine all over his white t-shirt and shirt. What happened next was nothing short of remarkable: the staff didn’t just offer napkins and sympathy - they sprang into action. One of the team actually went out and bought him the exact same t-shirt, while another took his shirt, expertly removed the red wine stains, and somehow managed to dry it in time for our post-dinner theatre plans. It was an incredibly thoughtful and generous gesture that saved our evening. To top it off, they treated us to some extra wine on the house, which was not only delicious but made us feel genuinely cared for and welcomed. Of course, the food was every bit as wonderful as expected but it was the warmth, empathy, and professionalism of the staff that will stay with us. Service like this is rare and truly worth celebrating. Thank you, Blacklock team - you turned a potential disaster into a perfect afternoon! *The cherry margaritas are amazing*

We had dinner for four. We ordered ‘all included’... it came with a huge pile of good meat. We nearly didn’t finish it. We got some nice cocktails And apple crumble dessert which was fresh and tasty. I recommend! Must order a table

Brilliant steak (cooked perfectly) and sides (the chips were extra crispy). Was celebrating my sister’s birthday and even though we didn’t ask for dessert, our waiter Kam (one of the nicest people we’ve met) came out with shots and the most divine cheesecake ever!

Not only when you have eaten, would you know how impressive this restaurant is. I had been frustrated early as it turned full all the time when I was trying to make a reservation. Thereby, be warned to make your booking early, and at least a week ahead for it to get the seats you want! Meat: The prime rib and the steak are perfectly done! (A piece of 700g would approx. suit for a table for two for your information as well.) We ordered one 700g prime rib and one 700g steak, table for three. Cant imagine how the cook worked on that when there were so many orders at the same time. Bone marrow: Definitely need to give that a try! It smells and tastes good. Cheesecake: We are not planning to order this at first place but seeing what other tables are having, we decided to go ahead for it. You wont regret that too!

For any meat lover...this is it. This is the place, the restaurant you always dreamed of. Even now, after weeks I've been there, writing this feedback and thinking about what I ate there, I start drooling. The place is very cool. Dark inside with the right light and perfect mood. The service is great. You can see that these people are happy to help. And, the meat...the meat...so good. This place is famous for their chops but whatever you go with will be fantastic. I started with ribs and I was already over the moon. Then, I didn't want to go too far, so I opted for the hamburger and a salad as side. Perfect. Then, to finish at perfection, crumble. If I could, I'd have done a membership and come back every week!
